Day 5

It was actually warm today but still rained while we were enjoying lunch and music.  We enjoyed the scenery on the way to and from two market places.  We bought scarves, blankets, shirts, leather goods, instruments, and jewelry at amazing bartering prices as gifts and keepsakes.  The native people wore beautiful handmade outfits.  The land was full of mountains, the largest lake in the country at San Pablo, the sky was so blue, there were rose greenhouses everywhere, and farm animals and crops on the hillside. We enjoyed sharing our new found treasures, singing, and being silly on the bus.  It is amazing what you see in the city and along the winding roads that connect these artisan markets!  Including small children on motorcycles between their parents.  We were blessed to have safe travels with Raoul, Robbie, & Jen on our bus!
The bus trip to Otavalo & Cotacochi was beautiful.
